Upper-Division Living with University Housing
Sophomores and above have additional residence hall, apartment and meal plan options to choose from, plus great amenities available. Explore all of the upper-division housing options available for sophomore students and above, including halls that offer single rooms, semi-private bathrooms, break and summer housing.

Bousfield Hall
Bousfield Hall features suite-style floor plans with both double and single room options exclusively for sophomores and above and residents can choose from four meals plans. Semi-private bathrooms are located within each suite.

Taft-Van Doren Halls
Taft and Van Doren Halls are home to exclusively sophomores and above, feature many single rooms and offer the option to select a 6 Classic Meal or 6 Classic Meal/25 Dining Dollars per week meal plan.

The undergraduate halls offer a variety of room types, bathroom types, living-learning communities and special living options and include a meal plan with four options to choose from.

Halls with Break Housing Options
If you think you will need to live on campus during Fall, Winter or Spring breaks, consider selecting Illinois Street Residence Halls (ISR), Pennsylvania Avenue Residence Halls (PAR), Bousfield Hall, Snyder Hall or Wassaja Hall. These halls remain open over breaks, and you may remain in your own room when you sign a break housing contract. Students who do not live in these halls but contract break housing will be temporarily assigned to these halls over break. Sherman Hall and Daniels Hall also remain open, with no additional break housing contract needed.

Graduate Upper-Division Halls
Sherman and Daniels are graduate upper-division halls that feature many single rooms and semi-private or private bathrooms. Sherman and Daniels residents are not required to have a meal plan, although many students like the convenience of eating in the dining halls. Residents have two additional meal plan options to choose from: 6 Classic Meals or 6 Classic Meals with 25 Dining Dollars. Both halls offer students the option to stay during Fall, Winter and Spring breaks.

12-Month Contracts
Twelve-month contracts are available in Daniels Hall. You can choose a May-to-May contract, and Daniels Hall stays open over university breaks.

University Housing Apartments
Ashton Woods Apartments offers a 12-month lease and features furnished and unfurnished two-bedroom apartments. Ashton Woods is a pet-friendly complex and home to a mix of graduate students and upper-division undergraduate students.
