Home to the Scholars Community, Lincoln Avenue Residence Halls (Leonard and Shelden) offer a quiet, friendly, laid-back community. These Urbana North halls have dining on-site, and if you eat vegan, vegetarian or Kosher, you’ll never even have to leave your building to find dining options that fit your needs. As the weather gets colder, that’s a huge plus. A bonus: LAR is one building away from one of campus’ recreation centers and right next door to McKinley Health Center.

During the academic year when students are present, the front desk will be open from 6 a.m. – 3 a.m. When the front desk is not staffed, students can still call the front desk number. The call will be answered by a calling service able to help with general questions and emergencies and assist students who may have lost their i-card and be locked out of their building and room.
