2020-2021 Continued Housing

University Housing residents who need or would like to stay in the undergraduate residence halls, after in-person instruction ends on November 20 through the end of winter break in January, will be allowed to stay on campus through our Continued Housing option.

Continued Housing allows residents the opportunity to select specific dates in which they require on-campus housing for a nightly fee.

Housing And Dining:

To maintain effective COVID-19 safety practices, residents staying on campus will be allowed to stay in their own rooms, and quarantine and isolation housing will continue to be available.

Select dining locations will provide carry-out meals November 21-December 18, and all dining locations will be closed starting December 19 for winter break.

Hall Reservations Required

To stay on campus, undergraduate residents are required to complete a Continued Housing Contract. The deadline to submit a Continued Housing Contract is Friday, November 20.

The Continued Housing Contract will be available mid fall semester.

Costs:

November 21-December 18: $60 per night (Meals Included)
December 19-Winter Break: $40 per night (No Meals Available)

COVID-19 Travel Guidelines:

Residents opting to take advantage of Continued Housing should plan to refrain from traveling and remain in Champaign-Urbana for the duration of their contact.
