Attention Goodwin-Green Residents
How ISR construction will affect you
The ISR renovation and addition project is scheduled to begin May 14 and is expected to last through August 2020. During this time, the ISR dining facility will be completely remodeled and an addition will be built in the existing courtyard.
Summer Work Hours: 7 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday
Academic Year Work Hours: 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday
Over fall, winter, and spring break, work hours will begin as early as 7 a.m. Some weekends may also be required.
During these times, construction noise might be intrusive.
From May 14 to August 17, Goodwin-Green apartment residents who currently have D8 virtual permits will need to park their registered vehicle in one of two alternate locations:
· 10 spaces in the southwest end of parking lot D8
· Lot D5-Yellow Level located in the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts parking garage
All vehicles must be removed from lot D8 by no later than 8 a.m. on Monday, May 14. Vehicles not removed by this time will be towed to lot D9 which may result in a relocation charge of $75.
Due to Commencement activities in Krannert Center, residents will only be able to move their vehicles into D5–Yellow Level between 9 p.m. on Sunday, May 13 and 8 a.m. on Monday, May 14. The yellow level may be accessed from the Illinois Street entrance using the west ramp on the right side.
If you are unable to move your vehicle during this time, you may temporarily park in the Orchard Downs apartment lot. Please contact the Family & Graduate Housing Office at (217) 333-5656 to request a temporary permit.
If you have questions or concerns, please contact the Family & Graduate Housing office at (217) 333-5656 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
