Sustainability Courses

A major benefit of living in a living-learning community is the opportunity to enroll in our on- and off-site courses. As a resident of the Sustainability Living-Learning Community, you have the opportunity to register for courses that are smaller than elsewhere on campus and conveniently located in or near your residence hall. Many of our courses meet general education requirements while others are elective credit depending on your academic program. Courses are offered in the fall and spring semesters and are chosen based on feedback from our residents. Explore your passion for sustainability in this special instructional environment.

Music Lessons

One of the unique opportunities available to students in any living-learning community is the opportunity to take private music lessons for free. All Sustainablity residents are welcome to sign up for the music lesson lottery! There are limited spots available for each community, and students are offered spaces using a lottery system.

Lessons will be offered in piano, guitar, and voice. Instruction will be held in Allen Hall or the Student Dining and Residential Programs (SDRP) building located in the Ikenberry Commons area.

The lottery will take place during the first week of classes. Visit the Music Lesson Lottery page for more information and to register for the lottery.
